CHRIS KYLE FROG FOUNDATION AND TORRENCE RACING WELCOME FIRST RESPONDER COUPLE TO DALLAS

October 13, 2015 -- The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, dedicated to serving military and first responders through meaningful interactive experiences that enrich family relationships, in partnership with Torrence Racing, is honored to welcome and host a Revitalization Retreat for Louisiana State Trooper Terrell Vincent and his wife Kelli in Dallas Oct. 15 – 18, 2015.  Inspired by the personal experience of Chris and Taya Kyle, Revitalization Retreats represent a unique opportunity for military and first responder families to downshift from the intensity of mission-focused life of service and reconnect. Retreats range from quiet countryside weekends to rock star events.  This retreat is the first the foundation has hosted with Steve Torrence, NHRA Top Fuel driver and Chris Kyle Frog Foundation partner and ambassador.

After attending the Never Quit, Never Forget III Gala, a fundraiser benefiting military veterans and the families of the fallen, in Baton Rouge, Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Executive Director Taya Kyle wanted to do something special for the law enforcement community in Louisiana. “They had just experienced another shooting death and that entire community is hurting. It is our honor to recognize and serve the first responder community and their families through our Revitalization Retreats,” she said. “The experience in Dallas with Torrence Racing is perfect because we know this team and this city will wrap their arms around Terrell and Kelli,” Kyle continued.  Both a law enforcement officer and a veteran, Master State Trooper Terrell Vincent is from a service-oriented family and recently suffered a grievous loss with the line-of-duty death of Vincent’s brother, State Trooper Steven Vincent.

Torrence Racing has been visually supporting the foundation through a Chris Kyle Frog Foundation version of its Capco Contractors Top Fuel dragster. Through this Revitalization Retreat, his team will now be able to experience and feel the work of the foundation. “We are humbled and excited to host and meet this couple and thank them for their service,” said Torrence.

During the upcoming retreat weekend, Trooper Vincent and his wife Kelli will attend the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals, as well as enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Dallas. They will visit the JFK Museum and take a Segway tour of the city. Al Biernat’s steakhouse has graciously offered a VIP dining experience at their location on Oak Lawn Avenue.
